a caramel scapular on a Carmel’s day..

three days ago was Carmel’s b day..

there’s no birthday bash or whatever but at the end of the day it became meaningful to her as well as to me.

the birthday girl was upset and I, tish and averz tried our ~~awful~~ best to cheer her up. We said things a usual friend would say, yah know the blah-blah super cliches. XD

we’ve been planning to get drunk at some place in teresa but our usual ‘kwentuhan’ dragged on longer as we expected ‘til we end up attending mass at the interfaith chapel at school.

yeah i attended a mass.. after god-knows-when? it has been ages since my mass attendance, way before christmas and my birthday? :(( (i’m such a bad christian)

the atmosphere was very positive. they even said that “ you are born again” and i feel like one. yipee.

there are more people that day than usual (they say).. and at the end of the mass. the priest gave away blessed Scapulars for free (it would be ardent, if they made us pay).. it was my first scapular! soo happy..

before scapulars are weird for me ‘cause they look like caramel candies i often eat back in my childhood..

but now.. i got myself one.. along with my ever loving friends on a Carmel day..
